Recycle

Love our landfill. Recycle. Reduce. Reuse. One of our city's most valuable resources, The St Joseph Sanitary Landfill serves our community by making trash disposal efficient and affordable for residents and businesses.

Help protect and preserve our landfill by Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling.

REDUCE: Only buy what you need, and use what you buy. Use refillable water bottles and coffee cups. Visit Earth911.com to learn more.

REUSE: Donate items that are still in a good, usable condition to charities or charity shops.

RECYCLE: Use our St Joseph Recycle Center, open Wednesday through Saturday from 7:30am to 6pm.

St. Joseph Recycling Center

By providing a drop-off site for recyclable materials, this center strives to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills. We accept: aluminum, clear and brown glass containers, colored HDPE plastics (marked #1), natural HDPE plastics (marked #2), corrugated cardboard boxes, magazines, mixed office paper, newspapers, and tin cans.
